Privacy Policy

1. Who we are
Seyk is operated by Kansori (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what we collect when you use Seyk, why, and the choices you have. Questions can be sent via the contact form on our website.
2. What we collect
Account data — your name, email address, and password (held by Firebase Authentication; we never see or store your password itself).
Workspace data — workspace name, member list and roles, database connection details (host, port, database, username), schema metadata you sync, and annotations you write. Database passwords are encrypted and stored in Google Secret Manager; they are used only to run the queries you request.
Usage data— the questions you ask, the SQL the Service generates, and execution metadata (status, row counts, duration, sanitized error codes) in your workspace’s query log. Query results are returned to your browser transiently and are not stored by the Service.
Billing data — handled by Stripe; we store your plan, subscription status, and Stripe customer reference, never card details.
3. How we use it
To operate the Service (generate SQL, run queries, enforce workspace permissions and plan limits), to send transactional email (invites, request notifications, verification), to bill subscriptions, and to keep the Service secure. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
4. AI processing
When you ask a question, your prompt, relevant schema metadata (table and column names, your annotations), and — for the analysis feature — up to 100 rows of the results you choose to analyse (excluding columns you mask) are sent to Anthropic’s Claude API to generate SQL or analysis. Anthropic processes this data as a service provider to us.
5. Service providers
We use Google Cloud / Firebase (hosting, authentication, data storage, secret management), Anthropic (AI processing, §4), Stripe (payments), and an SMTP provider (transactional email). Each processes data only to provide their service to us.
6. Security
Sessions use HttpOnly cookies; database credentials are encrypted at rest in Google Secret Manager; connections to your database use TLS; generated SQL is restricted to read (SELECT) statements with multiple layers of validation. No system is perfectly secure, but we design so that a single failure does not expose your data.
7. Retention and deletion
Workspace data is retained while your workspace is active. You can delete connections (which removes the stored credentials), members, annotations, and queries from within the product. To delete your account or an entire workspace and its data, contact us via the contact form and we will complete the deletion within 30 days.
8. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. Contact us via the contact form to exercise them; we respond within 30 days.
9. Cookies
Seyk sets a single essential session cookie (__session) to keep you signed in. We use no advertising or analytics cookies.
10. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced on this page with an updated effective date.
